Illuminae Illuminae Files Young Adult Sci Fi Knopf Books Paperback 502

Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the worst thing she’d ever been through. That was before her planet was invaded. Now, with enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra are forced to fight their way onto one of the evacuating craft, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.

But the warship could be the least of their problems. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet’s AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their biggest threat; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady plunges into a web of data hacking to get to the truth, it’s clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: Ezra.

Told through a fascinating dossier of hacked documents–including emails, schematics, military files, IMs, medical reports, interviews, and more–Illuminae is the first book in a heart-stopping, high-octane trilogy about lives interrupted, the price of truth, and the courage of everyday heroes.

But they’ve decided we are all super traumatised by the Copernicus, and reconvened the groups they had running after the rescue.

Okay I was sort of interested in the book beforehand and Paper Fury keeps harassing me to read it as well. But now that I red this snippet i am very very intrigued and literally cannot wait! Have you read the Illuminae Files?

Seventy-Seven Saturday is a weekly blog meme hosted by the Aussie YA Bloggers where every Saturday we share a snippet of a book from page 77.

oooh there are some fantastic lines in these books!
I have read Illuminae and Gemina but not Obsidio. I seem to have an issue with reading the final books in series – I’m not sure whether that means I have a commitment issue, or fear of saying goodbye? haha
I thought these were a super quick and fun read – I’m looking forward to hearing what you think!
